The Land of Fire

Konohagakure (木ノ葉隠れの里, Konohagakure; Literally meaning "The Hidden Leaf Village"), or Konoha for short, is one of the five great ninja villages, and said to be the mightiest of the five. As such, it is one of five villages with a Kage as its leader, known as the Hokage. On a mountain overlooking the villages from the north exists the Hokage Monument. The village resides in the Land of Fire. Although Konoha, much like the country in which it resides, has been peaceful for the past sixteen years, and has grown accustomed to that peace, it remains one of the most powerful villages in existence, and has great military power and influence.

Standard of Living: Somewhat good.

Weather: Konoha's weather is very warm, it is the second warmest to Hikari, and it mainly stays the same the whole year round, warm tropical weather. Many periods are of excessive rain making things cooler, however; still humidly stiff.

History: Konohgakure became under leadership of Dominic after an ambush from the Mist Village to grab the ancient scroll of the Hikari Clan and steal the 12 tailed Ryuubi from Knoha. Nahaji Sankuro was the leader of the resistance attack against the Mist but sadly lost his life during the battle. Naruto also died in this conflict trying to seal the 12 tailed beast within Narora. Dominic Edrick an elite jounin at the time used his bloodline 'Wind Annihalation Jutsu' which had wiped out the entire army after the Mist gained the upperhand. With that courage alone and the fact that Dominic's masters we're Haji and Nasuke, gave the counsil confidence that he could lead Konoha to peaceful times even at his young age. Since then Konoha has been tested but has mostly thrived in his reign as Hokage.
